Raise your hand if you’re excited that graduation parties can be had this summer! Your graduate might have missed out on traditionally walking to get their diploma because of the events this year, but they can still celebrate all of their achievements whether it’s a high school or college. And what better way to celebrate than with delicious cakes or pastries at your party! Go with a traditional cake, dessert kabobs, and more! The possibilities are endless. Here are just a few of our favorites:
Round or Sheet Cake: Cake almost always is a hit at parties. At The Bakery Nook, we can custom design your cake to fit the occasion. You can order a sheet cake to handle multiple guests or a round cake for a small gathering. When ordering a cake, please order a week or two in advance to ensure we have everything on hand for your cake. Last-minute orders will happily be accepted, but the selection may be limited.
Cupcakes: Don’t worry cupcake lovers, they are number 2 on the list! We can individually style your cupcakes to fit whatever theme you’re going for. They’re also ideal for grabbing and socializing. You don’t have to worry about a plate or utensils.
Cake Pops: Cake pops have gotten popular over the past few years. It’s a mini cake that you can indulge in, but it’s still different from a cupcake. For graduation, you can create an adorable little graduation cap on top or a similar design.
Dessert Kabobs: Kabobs are a simple, but equally delicious addition to any party. You’re used to seeing grilled kabobs, but you can very easily make a dessert kabob. We usually go for fresh strawberries, mini rice Krispies treats, mini brownies, cream puffs, and marshmallows to create his delicious treat. What other combinations can you think of for a dessert kabob?
No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars: For the peanut butter lovers of the guests, this dessert will be a huge hit! It’s a no-bake dessert so you don’t have to heat up the house with the oven. You’ll only need a few ingredients to create this treat which includes peanut butter, graham crackers, powdered sugar, and butter.
Whether you’re getting a dessert professionally baked or creating your own, make this graduation party one they’ll never forget!
